A Rock 'n' Roll Legend in the Hand of the Hand: Marshall Emberton II Black & Brass Review
British giant Marshall, which has become iconic with its amplifiers in the music world, continues to make a name for itself in the portable audio market by combining its retro design line with modern engineering. Marshall Emberton II Black & Brass, one of the most popular members of the brand, is not only a speaker, but also a stylish accessory, with its brass details, iconic logo design and leather amplifier-like body.
Let's discuss in a sincere manner the sound quality, battery life, user comments and price/performance balance of this compact monster, which comes with serious improvements compared to the first generation.
🎧 Acoustic Performance: "True Stereophonic" Sound
Marshall Emberton II includes two 10W Class D amplifiers, two 2-inch full-range drivers and two passive radiators in its body. With a total power of 20 Watts, this mini device creates a soundstage larger than its size.
• 360 Degree Surround Sound: Thanks to the technology Marshall calls True Stereophonic, the sound spreads omnidirectionally from both the front and back of the speaker. This ensures that you get balanced sound wherever you are when you place the device in the middle of the room.
• Characteristic Marshall Sound: When the device first comes out of the box, it has a slightly dirty, "rocky" sound color that highlights mid frequencies and rock guitars, making you feel like you are listening to a guitar amplifier on stage.
• Official App and EQ Support: The Marshall Bluetooth mobile app, which was not available in the first generation, offers customizable EQ profiles on this model. Especially when the "Push" mode is selected, the bass becomes more punchy and the treble shines, resulting in a more energetic "U-shaped" sound experience.
• Objective Sound Criticism: Due to the limit of its physical dimensions, it cannot fully deliver the "earth-shaking" deep sub-bass that will satisfy hip-hop or electronic music enthusiasts. At very high volume levels (above 85%), slight compression in the bass can be felt.
🔋 Battery Life: 30+ Hours That Makes You Forget the Charger!
